CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE
EAST GRAND AVENUE MEDIAN RAILING PROJECT
AND APPROVING BUDGET AMENDMENT 93-7 TO THE
1992-1993 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET
WHEREAS, pursuant to the call for bids as provided in
Resolution No. 139-92 adopted October 28, 1992, and published
notice, bids were publicly opened, examined and declared on the
19th day of November 1992, for the East Grand Avenue Median Railing
Project No. ST-92-2; and
WHEREAS, it is recommended that an additional $4,000 be
appropriated to assure that an adequate budget is available for all
project costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco, that:
1. The Council hereby awards the contract to the lowest
responsiDle bidder, Oliveira Fence, Inc. of Santa Clara in the
amount of Twenty Four Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty Five Dollars
($24,735.00).
2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to
execute the written contract between the City and the successful
bidder on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
3. The Council hereby amends the Capital Improvement Budget
to appropriate and additional $4,000.00 for all project costs
through a transfer from the self-insurance fund.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on the 9th day of
D~cember , 1992 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Jack Draqo, Joseph A. Fernekes, John R. Penna,
Robert Yee, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teqlia
