CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET
AMENDMENT 92-2 TO THE 1991-1992
OPERATING BUDGET
WHEREAS, Art Rise Theatre ("Art Rise") is a non-profit theatre company in
South SaF Francisco; and
WHEREAS, Art Rise has applied for a $7,500.00 California Arts Council
grant; ard
WHEREAS, such grant is predicated upon securing additional matching funds;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Art Rise provides cultural enrichment
for the citizens of South San Francisco.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that it hereby adopts this budget amendment to appropriate $5,000.00
from the undesignated general fund balance to the City Council Community
Support Program budget to provide financial support to the Art Rise Theatre as
the matching share of its California Arts Council Grant.

adopted ~ the City Council of the City'of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 24th day of July

AYES: Councilmembers Richard A. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos, Roberta Cerri
-eglia, and Mayor Jack Drago
