HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 97-1991RESOLUTION NO. 97-91 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ADOPTING REPORT OF ANNUAL SEWER RENTALS AND CHARGES FOR 1991-92 PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 14.12 OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE ~HEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 14.12 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code, sewer rentals and charges are required to be assessed on the City tax rolls and collected with the regular municipal taxes; and '~HEREAS, a public hearing was duly called and held on July 24, 1991 at the hour of 7:30 p.m., in the Community Room of the Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo Drive, South San Francisco, California to consider any protests and/or modification of the report prior to adoption thereof; ~OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that: 1. The sewer rentals and charges filed with the City Clerk contained in the "Report of Sewer Rental Charges for 1991-92, in Accordance with Chapter 14.12 of the Municipal Code" as submitted by the Director of Finance, are hereby adopted, and the rentals and charges will be assessed on the City tax rolls and collected with the regular municipal taxes. Pursuant to Chapter 14.12 of the Municipal Code, the rentals shall constitute a lien upon ;he respective parcels of real property in the City of South San Francisco. 2. The City Clerk shall cause a copy of this resolution to be published within fifteen (15) days after passage in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of South San Francisco, and shall further certify to the County Tax Collector or Auditor that the report was adopted by the Council. hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 24th day of July , 1991 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Richard A. Penna ATTEST:/~ ~y~ · City Clerk EXHIBIT TO RESOLUTION NO. 97-91 REPORT OF SEWER RENTAL CHARGES FOR 1991-92 IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 14.12 OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE In accordance with Chapter 14.12 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code, the following report prepared as of June 30, 1991 is su~m~itted. The report describes the procedure of charging those parcels of real property which directly receive the benefits of municipal sanitary sewer services and the amount of the armual charge or rental which will be imposed against each parcel for fiscal year 1991-92. 1. Summary of rentals or charges. The following is a summary of the annual rental or charges for 1991-92. All commercial and industrial properties All residential properties, except those serviced by the Wes/borough County Water District Bil]ed by Statement 1,667,868 1,531,268 55,757 Total $ 3,254,893 2. Sewer Rental Account File. This report refers to and incorpocates by reference the report entitled "Rate Determination and Revenue Program SuImmary," prepared by and on file at the City of South San Francisco Water Quality Control Plant. The report summarizes the 1991-92 sewer rental charge that will be proposed to the City Council on July.~ 24, 1991. Upon adoption of the proposed charges, or amendments thereto, a report entitled "City of South San Francisco Sanitary Sewer Charges," prepared by Engineering Data Services, Los Altos, California will be completed. The report will describe each parcel of real property receiving directly the benefits of municipal sanitary sewer service and %he amount of annual charge or rental imposed against each parcel for fiscal year 1991-92. This report will submit, refer to and incorporate by reference the City of South San Francisco's Sewer Charge List for 1991- 92 which describes by Assessor's parcel number each parcel of real property receiving sanitary sewer service and the amount of annual charge or rental imposed against each parcel for 1991-92. All of these documenss, including this report, shall be filed with the County Tax Collector or Auditor.
