CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE QUITCLAIM DEED BETWEEN
MACY'S CALIFORNIA, INC. AND THE CITY FOR A
PORTION OF A SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that:
The City Manager is authorized and directed to execute on
behalf of the City of South San Francisco a Quitclaim Deed from the
City to Macy's California, Inc. for a portion of a sanitary sewer
easement as described in Exhibit "A" of the Deed, on file in the
Office of the City Clerk.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the city of South San
Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on the llth day of
Septem)er , 1991 by the following vote:
AYES:
Councilmembers Richard A. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos, John R. Penna,
Roberta Cerri Teglia, and Mayor Jack Drago
NOES: None

Sanitary Sewer Easemeht Abandonment
A strip of land 10 feet wide lying 5 feet on each side of the following
described centerline:
BEGINNING at an angle point in the northeasterly right-of-way
line of the State highway known as E1 Camino Real, said point of beginning
being the most easterly corner of that certain strip of land, 70 feet in
width described in the deed conveyed by Paul Arata and Fra.nk Lagomarsino
to the County of San Mateo, dated May 3, 1913 and recorded May 26, 1913
ir. Volume 222 of Deeds at page 402, San Mateo County Records, said
POINT OF BEGINNING being distant N41°20'20"E 70.73 feet from a 4-inch
by 4-inch concrete highway monument, which monument is at the point of
i~.tersection of the southwesterly right-of-way line of said E1 Camino Real
and the common boundary between that certain 59.64 acre tract conveyed
by Louisa Lagomarsino to Louis Lagomarsino, et al, by deed dated July 30,
1943 and recorded August 9, 1943 in Book 1066 of Official Records of
San Mateo County at page 345 and that certain 37.702 acre tract conveyed
by the Cowell Estate to S. H. Cowell and Isabella M. Cowell by deed dated
December 10, 1935 and recorded December 14, 1935 in Book 683 of Official
Records of San Mateo County at page 1; thence North 41020'20'' East 62.64
feet; thence North 40025'40" West 5.05 feet~ thence North 41°20'20'' East
16.89 feet to the TRrdE POINT OF BIDGINNING:
