CITY COL~CIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF THE
COMPREHENSIVE HOUSING AFFORDABILITY STRATEGY
TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN
DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, Title I of the National Affordable Housing Act (1990)
requires preparation of a Comprehensive Housing Affordability
Strategy (CHAS); and
WHEREAS, such a study is necessary to receive federal funds
under tke Community Development Block Program (CDBG), Emergency
Shelter Grant Program, and other federal housing programs; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted the required public
hearings and included public comment in the city's CHAS.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of San South Francisco that the Comprehensive Housing Affordability
Strategy for the city of South San Francisco is hereby approved and
adopted and that the City Manager is authorized to submit the CHAS
to the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on the 13th day of
November , 1991 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Richard A. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos, John R. Penna,
Roberta Cerri Teglia, and Mayor Jack Drago
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: None
