CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE LEASE OF TEMPORARY
OFFICE SPACE FOR THE CONFERENCE CENTER
WHEREAS, the improvements to the South San
Conference Center are now under construction; and

WHEREAS, the project is now in the pre-opening operational
phase; and
WHEREAS, additional office space is necessary to house the
staff and operations of the Center; and
WHEREAS, adequate space is available at 651 Gateway Boulevard
in South San Francisco; and
WHEREAS, adequate funds have been designated for the lease of
temporary office space in this year's Conference Center Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco that:
1. The lease of temporary office space at 651 Gateway
Boulevard is hereby authorized.
2. The City Manager is authorized to negotiate and accept the
terms of and execute a lease for such property in an amount not to
exceed $25,000.00.
3. A copy of the executed lease shall be kept on file in the
City Clerk's Office.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a requ]ar meeting held on the 8th day of
Januar~ , 1992 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Jack Drago, Joseph A. Fernekes, Roberta Cerri Teglia,
and Mayor John R. Penna
NOES:
Councilmember Gus Nicolopulos
