CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET AMENDMENT 92-16
TO THE 1991-1992 OPERATING BUDGET AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN HILTON, FARNKOFF
AND HOBSON AND THE CITY FOR THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
SCAVENGER COMPANY
WHEREAS, the franchise agreement governing the South San
Francisco Scavenger Company provides for biennial rate increases;
and
WHEREAS, the firm of Hilton, Farnkopf and Hobson has been
retained to perform a review of the general rate request submitted
by the South San Francisco Scavenger Company in the amount of
$29,800; and
WHEREAS, the amount of $29,800 will be reimbursed to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Soutk San Francisco that $29,800 is appropriated from the
undesignated fund balance to the non-departmental budget to pay for
these costs and the city Manager is authorized to execute this
agreemen~ on behalf of the City. A copy of the Agreement is on
file in ~he Office of the City Clerk.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 25th day of
March , 1992 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Jack Drago, Joseph A. Fernekes, Roberta Cerri
Teglia, and Mayor John R. Penna
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT:
Councilmember Gus Nicolopulos
