CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT NO. 2
TO THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING
THE CITY/COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS
WHEREAS, on November 14, 1990, the city Council adopted
Resolution No. 164-90 authorizing the execution of a Joint Powers
Agreemen: ("Agreement") establishing the City/County Association of
Governments; and
WHEREAS, each member city must approve any amendments to the
Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed amendment
will be beneficial to the City since it will allow the Joint Powers
Agency to function more efficiently.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco as follows:
1. Amendment No. 2 to the Joint Powers Agreement Establishing
the City/County Association of Governments, as set forth in Exhibit
"A", is hereby approved and adopted. (Exhibit "A").
2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the proposed
Amendmen~ to the Agreement on behalf of the City and the City
Manager is authorized to take all steps necessary related to the
implementation.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regul ar meeting held on the 25th day of
March
, 1992 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Jack Drago, Joseph A. Fernekes, Roberta Cerri
Teglia, and Mayor John R. Penna
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
