HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 56-1992 RESOLUTION NO. 56-92 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE 1991-92 STREET RESURFACING PROGRAM WHEREAS, pursuant to the call for bids as provided in Resolution No. 35-92 adopted April 22, 1992, and published notice, bids were publicly opened, examined and declared on the 22th day of May 1992, for the 1991-92 Street Resurfacing Program Project ST-92-1. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, that: 1. The Council hereby awards the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, Lowrie Paving Company of South San Francisco in the amount of One Hundred Sixty Four Thousand Two Hundred Forty Five Dollars ($164,245.00). 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the written contract between the City and the successful bidder on file in the Office of the City Clerk. 3. The Council hereby rejects all other proposals or bids. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the city of South San Francisco at a requ]ar meeting held on the 24th day of June , 1992 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Jack Draqo, Joseph A. Fernekes, Robert Yee, and Vice Mayor Roberta Cerri Teqlia NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: Mayor John R. Penna ATTEST:
