A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PREPARATION OF
REPORT AND PROPOSING FORMATION OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO WILLOW
GARDENS PARKS AND PARKWAYS MAINTENANCE
DISTRICT
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that:
1. This City Council hereby proposes that the Willow Gardens
Parks and Parkways Maintenance District be established as a
maintenance assessment district pursuant to the provisions of the
Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 (commencing at §22500 of the
California Streets and Highways Code).
2. The maintenance district improvements shall consist of
the installation, maintenance and servicing of the improvements
described in Exhibit "A" attached and by this reference made a part
of this Resolution.
3. The maintenance assessment district proposed in this
Resolution is hereby given the distinctive designation of "City of
South San Francisco Willow Gardens Parks and Parkways Maintenance
District," and is described in a map on file and open to public
inspection in the Office of the City Clerk. This map indicates by
a boundary line the extent of the territory included in the
proposed maintenance assessment district.
4. Ray von Dohren, City Engineer of the City of South San
Francisco, is hereby designated as Engineer for purposes of the
maintenance assessment district and is hereby ordered to prepare a
report in accordance with Article 4 of Chapter 1 of Part 2 of
Division 15 of the California Streets and Highways Code (commencing
with Section 22565 thereof). Upon completion, the Engineer shall
file the report with the City Clerk for submission to this Council.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopte~ by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a re§u/ar meeting held on the 24th day of
~une , 1992 by the following vote:

and Vice Mayor Roberta Cerri Teqlia

(Willow Gardens Parks and Parkways Maintenance District)
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The improvements consist of the installation, maintenance and
servicing of all plants, surface areas, and recreational
facilities; including, but not limited to, walkways, play
apparatus, lighting, turf areas, shrubs and trees on all of the
common areas and lands owned by the City within the assessment
district.
