CITY COU~-CIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF A
GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO AND THE FEDERAL AVIATION
ADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration is offering a
$1,000,000 grant to carry out the Noise Insulation Program
undertaken by the City of South San Francisco; and
WHEREAS, a contract with design consultant Corlett, Skaer and
DeVoto has been negotiated in an amount not to exceed $188,643.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South Francisco that:
1. The city Manager is hereby authorized to execute the
appropriate form of Agreement necessary for acceptance of the
Federal 9rant funding.
2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
consultir.g services agreement with Corlett, Skaer and DeVoto in an
amount not to exceed $188,643.00 for insulation design consultation
on approximately one hundred (100) homes. A copy of the Agreement
is on file with the City Clerk.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 24th day of
June , 1992 by the following vote:
AYES:
Councilmembers Jack Drago, Joseph A. Fernekes, Robert Yee,
and Vice Mayor Roberta Cerri Teglia

ABSENT: Mayor John R. Penna
