CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT
FOR LIQUID CHLORINE FOR THE WATER
QUALITY CONTROL PLANT
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous authorization and published notice, bids
were publicly opened, examined and declared on the 25th day of July, 1990,
for LIQUID CHLORINE FOR THE WATER QUALITY CONTROL PLANT, BID. NO. 1819.
NOW, T~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, that:
1. Tie Council hereby awards the contract to the lowest responsible
bidder, Jo~es Chemicals, Inc. of Milpitas, California, for the bid price of
Three Hundred Nineteen Dollars and Fifty Cents ($319.50)/Ton).
2. Tie City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a written
contract with the successful bidder.
3. Tie Council hereby rejects all other proposals or bids.
I here)y certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting he'd on the 8th day of August
, 1990 by the following vote:
AYES:
Councilmembers Jack Drago, Gus Nicolopulos, Roberta Cerri Teglia,
and Mayor Richard A. Haffey
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: Councilmember John R. Penna
