CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS,
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SUPPLIES,
EQUIPMENT OR SERVICES AND CALLING BIDS
FOR CUSTODIAL PAPER SUPPLIES
WHEREAS, specifications providing for the purchase of supplies, equipment
and/or services have been submittedj which specifications are entitled:
CUSTODIAL PAPER SUPPLIES - BID NO. 1818
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve the specifications, authorize
the purchase, and call for sealed proposals;
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Franciscoj that:
1. T~e specifications identified above are approvedj and the purchase
is hereby authorized.
2. T~e Administrative Services Officer is hereby directed to publish a
notice inviting sealed proposals or bids for the purchase in accordance with
the specifications on file in the office of the Administrative Services
Officer. iotice shall be published in the Enterprise-Journalj a newspaper of
general ci-culation printed and published in the City of South San Francisco,
at least t~n (10) days before the date of opening of the bi ds.
3. Bids will be received by the City of South San Francisco, California,
at the office of the Administrative Services Officer of the City, City Hall
Annex, 315 Maple Avenue, South San Francisco, California 94080, at or before
the hour of 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, the 27th day of September, 1990, that time
being not less than ten (10) days from the first publication of notice.
The bids will be publicly opened, examined and declared at that time
in the Conference Room,. City Hall, 400 Grand Avenue, South San Francisco, and
award will thereafter be made by the City Council of the City to the lowest
responsible bidder or bidders, subject, however, to the right of the City
Council to reject any and all bids.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 8th day of August , 1990 by the following vote:

and Mayor Richard A. Haffey
