CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
TO ABATE AN ABANDONED SIGN AT 1045 AIRPORT BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, on July 26, 1989, the City Council, acting pursuant to Business
and Professions Code Section 5499.7, determined that the abandoned sign
structure at 1045 Airport Boulevard constituted a nuisance and should be
removed; ard
WHEREAS, pursuant to Business and Professions Code Section 5499.11 the
Council desires to have the sign removed by a contractor who is the lowest
responsible bidder.
NOW, TFEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1) T~e contract for the removal of the abandoned sign at 1045 Airport
Boulevard is awarded to United Signs, Inc., 727 Airport Boulevard, South San
Francisco, CA. 94080.
2) T~e City Manager is authorized to execute an Agreement with United
Signs, Inc. for removal of the sign for an amount not to exceed Sixteen Hundred
Dollars ($1600.00).
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopte¢ by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 8th day of August

and Mayor Richard A. Haffey
