CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO EMPLOYEE
CLASSIFICATION PLAN TO ESTABLISN TNE POSITION OF
EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES (EMS) COORDINATOR AND
DELETE TNE POSITION OF PARAMEDIC CAPTAIN
WHEREAS, as part of the Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 1990-1991 the City
Council previously approved reorganization of the Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, this reorganization involves replacing the Paramedic Captain
position with an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Coordinator;
NOW, TNEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that the Employee Classification Plan, as amended, is further
amended effective September 19, 1990 as follows:

The position of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Coordinator
is established in accord with the Class Specification set
forth in Exhibit "A". This position is included in the
Management and Confidential Employee Group.
T~e position of Paramedic Captain is deleted.
I here~y certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the lOth day of October
