CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT (SHAW
ROAD/SAN MATEO AVENUE PUMP STATIONS PROJECT)
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous authorization and published notice, bids were
publicly opened, examined and declared on October 19, 1990 for the Shaw Road/
San Mateo Avenue Pump Stations Project, Bid Nos. 1822 and 1823.
NOW, T~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, that:
1. Th) Council hereby awards the contract for the Shaw Road/San Mateo
Avenue Pu~p Station Intertie Project to Shaw Pipeline, Inc., for the Bid Price
of Three ~undred Seventeen Thousand Six Hundred Five Dollars ($317,605).
2. Th) Council hereby declares the Control Systems Specialist's bid as
nonresponsive and awards the contract for the Shaw Road/San Mateo Avenue Pump
Station I~provement Project to Union Electric Construction, Inc., for the Bid
Price of Three Hundred Sixty Five Thousand Dollars ($365,000).
3. Th) City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a written contract
with the successful bidder.
4. The Council hereby rejects all other proposals or bids.
I here)y certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a reqular
meeting held on the 14th day of November , 1990 by the following vote:
