CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR AIRCRAFT
NOISE INSULATION PROJECT - PHASE V(b)
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous authorization and published notice, bids
were publicly opened, examined and declared on the 23rd day of October, 1990,
for AIRCRAFT NOISE INSULATION PROJECT - PHASE V(b), PROJECT NO. PB-88-1B.
NOW, TFEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, that:
1. The Council hereby awards the contract to the lowest responsible
bidder, G. E. Chen Construction, Inc., in San Mateo for the bid price of
Four Hundred Twenty Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy Six Dollars
($427,776) for the base bid and all five alternates.
2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a written
contract with the successful bidder.
3. The Council hereby rejects all other proposals or bids.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 14th day of November
1990 by the following vote:
