CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE CITY/COUNTY
ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS AS THE PUBLIC
AGENCY TO DEVELOP, ADOPT AND UPDATE THE
CONGESTION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, Government Code Sections 65088 et seq., requires that a
Congestion ~anagement Program be developed, adopted, and annually updated
for every County; and
WHEREAS, the program shall be developed by a public agency as designated
by the County Board of Supervisors and the City Councils of a majority of the
cities representing a majority of the population in the incorporated area of
the County; and
WHEREAS, the City/County Association of Governments is being established
as a joint }owers entity for the purpose of developing state mandate plans
such as the Congestion Management Program; and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of this City Council to designate the
City/County Association of Governments as the public agency to develop the
Congestion ~anagement Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco tiat the City/County Association of Governments is hereby designated
as the public agency to develop, adopt and annually update the Congestion
Management ~rogram.
BE IT FJRTHER RESOLVED this resolution shall be effective upon the formation
and establishment of the City/County Association of Governments.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
