CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE STATEMENT OF COSTS FOR
THE SUMMARY ABATEMENT AT 1045 AIRPORT BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, Andy and Zaida Saberi are the owners of the property located at
1045 Airport Boulevard, (AP #012-095-180) South San Francisco, California; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to South San Francisco Municipal Code Section 20.76.060
and Business & Professions Code Section 5499.1 et seq., the City Council adopted
a resolution declaring the abandoned sign to be a nuisance and called for its
abatement;
WHEREAS, after a public hearing on July 26, 1989 the City Council adopted
a resolutio~ overriding objections, ordering removal of the sign structure and
requiring c~sts of removal incurred by the City to be made a special assessment
upon the property; and
WHEREAS, due to the failure of the owners to comply, the City secured a
contract with United Sign, Inc. to remove the abandoned sign structure on
September 2}, 1990 and the total cost of the abatement is $4,367.09.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco t~at the Statement of Costs for $4,367.09 is confirmed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to file a copy of
this resolucion and Statement of Costs with the County Assessor and Tax
Collector wlo shall add the amount of the assessment to the next regular tax
bill levied against the property.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
