CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET
AMENDMENT 90-8 TO THE 1990-1991
OPERATING BUDGET
WHEREAS, the California Integrated Waste Management Act of 1989 requires
cities to develop a solid waste management plan that would divert solid waste
away fro~ landfills; and
WHEREAS, the cities of Brisbane, Millbrae, and South San Francisco are
jointly pursuing such a plan, with South San Francisco serving as project
coordinator; and
WHEREAS, the costs will be shared among the cities and the portion
attributable to South San Francisco will be paid by the South San Francisco
Scavenger Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that it hereby appropriates the $141,648 coming from outside
sources to the Public Works budget in order to fund the plan.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
reqular meeting held on the 12th day of November
