HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 173-1990RESOLUTION NO. 173-90 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AMENDING CHAPTER I OF THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend the Master Fee Schedule to reflect increased costs of providing paramedic service transport for non- resident patients; and WHEREAS, Government Code Section 54990 et seq. provides a procedure for levying certain fees by local agencies; and WHEREAS, the City Council on December 12, 1990 conducted a properly noticed public hearing at which time an opportunity was given to the members of the public to make written or oral presentations concerning the proposed fees; and WHEREAS, at least ten days prior to the public hearing the City made available to the public an estimate of costs required to provide the services for which the fees are levied and the revenue sources anticipated to provide the services, including general fund revenues; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the costs to provide the foregoing services, including estimated costs, and the revenue sources anticipated to provide the services, including general fund revenues; WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the public response to the proposed fees; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that: It adopts the following fees for non-resident patients transported from outside the incorporated city limits: $525.00 base rate; $12.50 )er mile; $60.00 for oxygen and $60.00 for night calls (7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.). 2. The Director of Finance is directed to amend the Master Fee Schedule to reflect the fees. BE IT RESOLVED that all prior fee resolutions are repealed to the extent they are inconsistent with the rates stated above. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 12th day of December , 1990 by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSTAIN: Councilmembers Richard A.
