CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET
AMENDMENT 90-17 TO THE 1990-1991
OPERATING BUDGET
WHERE~S, the Westborough Junior High School Marching Band has been invited
to particlipate in the annual "Victoria Day" parade in Vancouver, British
Columbia,i on May 20, 1991; and
WHEREAiS, it is deemed a tribute and honor to have a local youth group
invited t!o represent this community; and
WHEREAiS, the Westborough Junior High School Marching Band requests and is
in need af financial support.
NOW, T~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco! that it hereby adopts this budget amendment to appropriate $1,875.00
from the iundesignated general fund balance to the City Council Community
Support Pirogram budget to provide financial support to the Westborough Junior
High School Marching Band, on express condition that the South San Francisco
Unified Sichool District contribute matching funds.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a reqular
meeting held on the 24th day of April
