HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 51-1991 RESOLUTION NO. 51-91 GITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE APPEAL OF HELEN PRICE FROM A RULING OF THE BUILDING BOARD OF APPEALS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO RE 409 GRAND AVENUE WHEREAiS, at a meeting of the Building Board of Appeals of the City of South San FranCisco, held at City Hall, 400 Grand Avenue, South San Francisco, Californi!a, on March 5, 1991, the Building Board of Appeal did affirm the determinaltion of the Building Inspection Division of the City that the building ilocated at 409 Grand Avenue is of unreinforced masonry construction and a potentially hazardous building and subject to the requirements of Chapter 115.28 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code and provisions of Government Code Section 8875 et seq.; and WHEREAS, within the time prescribed an appeal from such ruling was filed by Helen Price, as trustee for Stanton Joseph Price and Franklin Barry Price, owner of 409 Grand Avenue, in the manner and form prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, the hearing on appeal before this City Council was held at 33 Arroyo Dr~ve, South San Francisco, California on May 8, 1991 before the City Council. iEvidence, both oral and documentary, was introduced and received by the City Council, and the matter was submitted for decision. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco~ as follows: Good cause appearing therefor, and upon the findings attached hereto as Exhibit Ab which findings are the findings of the Building Board of Appeals incorporated and adopted by the City Council, the Council does hereby affirm the rulin~ of the Building Board of Appeals in which it affirmed the determination of the Building Inspection Division of the City of South San Franciscolthat the building located at 409 Grand Avenue is of unreinforced masonry construction and a potentially hazardous building and subject to the requirements of Chapter 15.28 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code and provisions of Government Code Section 8875 et seq., and the appeal is denied. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regula~ meeting held on the 22nd day of May , 1991 by the following vote. AYES: Councilmembers Richard A. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos, Roberta Cerri ~eglia, and Mayor Jack Draqo NOES: None ABSTAIN:qouncilmember John R. Penna ABSENT: None
