A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS AND
LEVY ASSESSMENTS AND PROVIDING FOR HEARING AND
NOTICE FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO LANDSCAPE
AND LIGHTING MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT - POINTE
GRAND BUSINESS PARK
WHEREAS, on June 12, 1991, this Council adopted A Resolution Directing
Filing of Annual Report for Assessment District, City of South San Francisco
Landscape and Lighting Maintenance Assessment District - Pointe Grand Business
Park ("District"), whereby Arthur Wong, as Engineer of Work, prepared a report
as ordered in accordance with Section 22565, et seq., of the California
Streets and Highways Code ("Report"); and
WHEREAS, the Report has been made, filed with the City Clerk, duly
considered by this Council, and is hereby deemed sufficient.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Franc"sco, California, as follows:
1. ~he intention of this Council is hereby declared to levy and collect
assessments within the District for the fiscal year 1991-1992.
2. ~ithin the District, the existing and proposed improvements and any
substantial changes proposed to be made to the existing improvements are
generallylas described on Exhibit "A" attached and by this reference made a
part of this Resolution.
3. -he District consists of the lots and parcels shown on the boundary
map.of the District on file with the City Clerk of the City and reference is
hereby made to such map for further particulars.
4. Reference is hereby made to the Report on file with the City Clerk
for a ful' and detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the
District and the proposed assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land
within the District.
5. Notice is hereby given that on july 10, 1991, at the hour of 7:30
o'clock p.m. in the regular meeting place of this City Council, Municipal
Services Building, 33 Arroyo Drive, South San Francisco, California, a hearing
by the Council will be held on the questions of the ordering of the
improvemerts and the levy of the proposed assessment.
6. Prior to the conclusion of the hearing, any interested person may
file a written protest with the Clerk, or, having previously filed a protest,
may file a written withdrawal of that protest. A written protest shall state
all grouncs of objection. A protest by a property owner shall contain a
description sufficient to identify the property owned by such owner.
7. The Clerk shall cause notice of the hearing to be given by
publishing a copy of this Resolution once, at least ten (10) days prior to the
date of t~e hearing above specified, in the Enterprise Journal, newspaper
circulated in the City of South San Francisco.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopt~d by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular 'meeting held on the 26th day of June , 1991 by
the follo~ing vote:
