CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS,
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT
OR SERVICES & CALLING BIDS FOR LIQUID CHLORINE
WHEREAS, specifications providing for the purchase of
supplies, equipment and/or services have been submitted, which
specifications are entitled:
LIQUID CHLORINE - BID NO. 1788
WHEREAS,

NO~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco, that:
1. The specifications identified above are hereby approved
and the purchase is hereby authorized.
2. The Administrative Services Officer of the City is hereby
directed to publish a notice inviting sealed proposals or bids for
the purchase in accordance with the specifications on file in the
office of the Administrative Services Officer. Notice shall be
published in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general
circulation printed and published in the City of South San
Francisco. The first publication of the notice shall be at least
ten (101 days before the date of opening of the bids.
3. Bids will be received by the City of South San Francisco,
Califorria, at the office of the Administrative Services Officer
of the City, City Hall Annex, 315 Maple Avenue, South San
Francisco, California 94080, at or before the hour of 2:30 p.m. on
Tuesday, the 22th day of August, 1989, that time being not less
than ter (10) days from the first publication of notice.
The bids will be publicly opened, examined and declared
at that time in the Conference Room, City Hall, 400 Grand Avenue,
South San Francisco, and award will thereafter be made by the City
Council of the City to the lowest responsible bidder or bidders,
subject, however, to the right of the City Council to reject any
and all bids.
I ~ereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the gth day of
Auqust , 1989, by the following vote:
AYES:
Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego, Jack Draqo, Richard A. Haffey,
Gus Nicolopulos, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teqlia
