CITY C)UNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDED RECOMMENDATIONS
OF THE CITIZENS REVIEW COMMITTEE FOR THE 1989-90
DOWNTOWN COMMERCIAL REHABILITATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, a Downtown Commercial Rehabilitation Program was
approve¢ by the City Council as a part of the federal Community
Development Block Grant Program (CDBG); and
WHEREAS, on July 22, 1987 the City Council adopted a
resolution approving Downtown Commercial Rehabilitation Pilot
Program Guidelines; and
WHEREAS, on October 14, 1987 the City Council adopted a
resolution authorizing the Mayor to appoint a Citizens Review
Committee for the Downtown Rehabilitation Pilot Program; and
WHEREAS, on April 12, 1989 the City Council approved the
recommerdations of the Citizens Review Committee for the
expenditure of the 1987-89 budgeted amount; and
WHEREAS, on July 19, 1989 the Committee met and recommended
amended funding for certain projects for the 1989-90 program
year;
NO~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco that the "Amended Citizens Review
Committee Recommendations 1989-1990 CDBG Downtown Commercial
Rehabilitation Program" are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the staff is authorized to work
with each applicant to implement the projects in accordance with
the approved appropriations.
I Yereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South
San Frarcisco at a regular meeting held on the 9th day
of August , 1989, by the following vote:

and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teqlia
