HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 11-2011RESOLUTION NO. 11-2011 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING $19,656 FROM THE GENERAL FUND UNDESIGNATED RESERVE AND AMENDING THE 2010/11 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET IN ORDER TO REPLACE THE BOILER AT CITY HALL, PROJECT #PF1022/51-13232-0928 WHEREAS, staff recommends amending the 2010/11 Capital Improvement Program budget in the amount of $19,656 for the replacement of the boiler at City Hall; and WHEREAS, $3,000 in repairs were made in 2010 to the existing boiler, and the current estimated repair cost is approximately $6,000; and WHEREAS, the cost to remove and recycle the old unit, and purchase and install the new unit is $16,156, with $1,000 for expedited delivery and a contingency of $2,500, for a total of $19,656; and WHEREAS, the funding to amend the 2010/11 Capital Improvement Program will come from the general fund undesignated reserve. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby appropriates $19,656 from the general fund undesignated reserve and amends the 2010/11 Capital Improvement Program budget to reflect this appropriation for the replacement of the boiler at City Hall. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 26th day of January 2011 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Mark Addiego, Pedro Gonzalez and Karyl Matsumoto, Vice Mayor Richard A.
