CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AGENTS FOR THE CITY
FOR THE PURPOSE OF OBTAINING FEDERAL AND STATE
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE NECESSITATED BY THE
OCTOBER 17, 1989 EARTHQUAKE
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
Jesus Armas, City Manager, Arthur Wong, City Engineer and Joseph A. Fernekes,
Administrative Services Officer are hereby authorized to execute for and in
behalf of the City of South San Francisco, a public entity established under
the laws of the State of California, this application and to file it in the
Office of Emergency Services for the purpose of obtaining certain federal
financial assistance under P.L. 93-288 as amended by the Robert T. Stafford
Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act of 1988, or state financial
assistance under the Natural Disaster Assistance Act.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of South San Francisco, a public
entity es;ablished under the laws of the State of California, hereby authorizes
its agents to provide to the State Office of Emergency Services for all matters
pertaining to such state disaster assistance the assurances and agreements
required.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 8th day of November , 19 89 by the following vote:

Gus Nicolopulos, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teglia
