A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR THE RAILROAD AVENUE SANITARY
SEWER REPLACEMENT
WHEREASj pursuant to previous authorization and published notice, bids
were pub'icly openedj examined and declared on the 28th day of November,
1989, fo- RAILROAD AVENUE SANITARY SEWER REPLACEMENT, PROJECT NO. #SS-88-2,
BID NO. Z797.
NOWj THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, that:
1. The Council hereby awards the contract to the lowest responsible
bidderj Cames Chalmers, Contractor of San Jose, P.O. Box 24544, San Jose,
CA. 95145-4§44j for the bid price of Two Hundred Seventy Three Thousand
Seven Hurdred Twenty Five Dollars and No Cents ($273,725.00).
2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a written
contract with the successful bidder.

IThe Council hereby rejects all other proposals or bids.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 13th day of December
, 1989 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Jack Drago, Gus Nicolopulos, John R. Penna, Roberta
Cerri Teplia, and Mayor Richard A. Haffey
