HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 165-1989 RESOLUTION NO. 165-89 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDED RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITIZENS REVIEW COMMITTEE FOR THE 1989-90 DOWNTOWN COMMERCIAL REHABILITATION PROGRAM WHEREAS, a Downtown Commercial Rehabilitation Program was approved by the City Council as part of the federal Community Development Block Grant Program ICDBG); and WHEREAS, on July 22, 1987 the City Council adopted a resolution approving Downtown Central Commercial Rehabilitation Pilot Program Guidelines; and WHEREAS, on October 14, 1987 the City Council adopted a resolution authorizirg the Mayor to appoint a Citizens Review Committee for the Downtown Rehabilitation Pilot Program; and WHEREAS, on August 9, 1989 the City Council approved the recommendations of the Citizens Review Committee for the expenditure of the 1989-90 budgeted amount; ard WHEREAS, the Committee and staff recommend some amended funding for certain projects for the 1989-90 program year; NOW, T~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the "Amended Citizens Review Committee Recommendations 1989-1990 CDBG Downtown Commercial Rehabilitation Program", attached as Appendix I and the "Description of Amended 1989-90 Downtown Commercial Rehabilitation Projects", attached as Appendix II are hereby approved. BE IT ~URTHER RESOLVED that the staff is authorized to work with each applicant to implement the projects in accordance with the approved appropriations. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting he'd on the 13th day of December , 1989 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Jack Draqo, Gus Nicolopulos, John R.
