CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF
CONTRACT FOR THE AIRCRAFT
NOISE INSULATION PROJECT -
PNASE V~a)
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous authorization and published
notice, bids were publicly opened, examined and declared on the
22nd day of February, 1990, for the Aircraft Noise Insulation
Project - Phase V(a), Project #PB 88-1
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Sout~ Francisco, that:
1. The Council hereby awards the contract to the lowest
responsible bidder, G.E. Chen Construction, Inc., San Francisco in
the amoJnt of Five Hundred Twenty Six Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty
Dollars ($526,950).
2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a
written contract with the successful bidder.
3. The Council hereby rejects all other proposals or bids.
I ~ereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 14th day
of ~arch , 1990 by the following vote:
AYES:
Councilmembers Gus Nicolopu].os, John R. Penna,
Roberta Cerri Teqlia, and Mayor Pro Tem Jack Drago
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT:
