HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 37-1990RESOLUTION NO. 37-90 :ITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT OR SERVICES AND CALLING BIDS FOR SLUDGE THICKENER PROJECT WH£REAS, specifications providing for the purchase of supplies, equipment and/or services have been submitted, which specifications are entitled: SLUDGE THICKENER PROJECT - BID NO. 1806 and, WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve the specifications, authorize the purcBase, and call for sealed proposals. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Fran(isco, that: 1. The specifications identified above are hereby approved and the purchase is hereby authorized. 2. i The Administrative Services Officer of the City is hereby directed to publish a notice inviting sealed proposals or bids for the purchase in accordanQe with the specifications on file in the office of the Administrative Services !Officer. Notice shall be published in the Enterprise Journal, a newspaper! of general circulation printed and published in the City of South San Francisco!, at least ten (10) days before the date of opening of the bids. 3. ~ Bids will be received bythe City of South San Francisco, California, at the office of the Administrative Services Officer of the City, City Hall Annex, 315 Maple Avenue, South San Francisco, California 94080, at or before the hour of 21:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 1990 that time being not less than ten (10) days! from the first publication of notice. ~ The bids will be publicly opened, examined and declared at that time in the Conference Room, City Hall, 400 Grand Avenue, South San Francisco, and award wilil thereafter be made by the City Council of the City to the lowest responsible bidder or bidders, subject, however, to the right of the City Council to reject any and all bids. I!hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adop!ted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting iheld on the 11th day of April , 1990, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Councilmembers Jack Drago, Gus Nicolopulos, John R.
