CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION WAIVING THE STATEMENT OF COSTS
FOR A NUISANCE ABATEMENT AT 719 LINDEN AVENUE
WHEREAS, Raphael and Maria Gomez are the owners of the property located at
719 Linden Avenue, South San Francisco, California; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to South San Francisco Municipal Code Section 8.24.030,
a nuisance abatement notice to remove the garage which was in an unsafe
condition and a hazard at 719 Linden Avenue was sent to the property owners;
and
WHEREAS, after holding an evidentiary hearing, the appointed hearing officer
determined that the garage did constitute a nuisance and informed the owners of
that decis"on in writing; and
WHEREAS, due to the failure of the owners to abate the nuisance within the
prescribed period, City was forced to hire a contractor to demolish the building
and abate the nuisance on October 10, 1989; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Municipal Code Section 8.24.100 the owners were notified
that the total cost of the abatement was $2040.89 which has not been paid;
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on May 9, 1990 concerning
the imposition of costs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that it determined to waive the statement of costs for $2040.90.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting he'd on the 9th day of May , 1990 by the following vote:

Roberta Cerri Teglia, and Mayor Richard A. Haffey
