CI-Y COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
THE CALIFORNIA DISASTER ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the State of California has established the California Disaster
Assistance Program to assist victims of the October 17, 1989 earthquake; and
WHEREAS, under the California Disaster Assistance Program victims are
eligible for low interest, deferred loans for property rehabilitation; and
WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo is recognized by to the State of
California to administer the California Disaster Assistance Program; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to facilitate access to the California Disaster
Assistance Program for its citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that te City Manager is authorized to execute on behalf of the
City of South San Francisco an Agreement To Administer the California Disaster
Assistance Program to assist victims of the October 17, 1989 earthquake between
the County of San Mateo and the City of South San Francisco.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 13th day of June , 1990, by the
following vote:
AYES:
City Councilmembers Jack Drago, Gus Nicolopulos, John R. Penna,
Roberta Cerri Teqlia, and Mayor Richard A. Haffey
