CITY COUNCIL; CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO; STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATION; AUTHORIZING
THE PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT AND CALLING BIDS FOR THE
WINSTON MANOR PARKS PLAYGROUND
WHEREAS; specifications providing for the purchase of supplies; equipment
and/or services have been submitted; which specifications are entitled:
WINSTON MANOR PARKS PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT PURCHASE BID NO. 1815
WHEREAS; the City Council desires to approve the specifications; authorize
the purchase; and call for sealed proposals;
NOW; T~EREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco; that:
1. T~e specifications identified above are approved; and the purchase
is hereby authorized.
2. T~e Administrative Services Officer is hereby directed to publish a
notice inviting sealed proposals or bids for the purchase in accordance with
the specifications on file in the office of the Administrative Services
Officer. ~otice shall be published in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of
general circulation printed and published in the City of South San Francisco,
at least ten (10) days before the date of opening of the bids.
3. Bids will be received by the City of South San Francisco, California,
at the office of the Administrative Services Officer of the City, City Hall
Annex, 315 Maple Avenue, South San Francisco, California 94080, at or before
the hour of 2:00 P.M. on Monday, the 16th day of July, 1990, that time being
not less t~an ten (10) days from the first publication of notice.
T~e bids will be publicly opened, examined and declared at that time
in the Conference Room,. City Hall, 400 Grand Avenue, South San Francisco, and
award will thereafter be made by the City Council of the City to the lowest
responsible bidder or bidders, subject, however, to the right of the City
Council to reject any and all bids.
I here}y certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 27th day of June , 1990 by the foll'owing vote:
