RESOLUTION NO. 103-90
~OUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RECOVERY
OF EMERGENCY RESPONSE COSTS
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 53150-53158 allows cities to recover the
expense of an emergency response to an accident caused by a person under the
influence of alcohol or drugs.
NOW, TBEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that:
1. PurSuant to Government Code Section 53150-53158 authorization is given to
recover the cost of emergency police and fire services incurred in responding to
accidents ~aused by persons under the influence of alcoholic beverages and/or
drugs. ~
2. Such costs will only be recovered in incidents where there is an
accident ard in which the district attorney files a complaint against the
responsible person.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 25th day of July , 1990 by the foll6wing vote:
