HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 105-1990 RESOLUTION 105-90 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ADOPTING REPORT OF ANNUAL SEWER RENTALS AND CHARGES FOR 1990-91 PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 14.12 OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 14.12 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code, sewer rentals and charges are required to be assessed on the City tax rolls and collected With the regular municipal taxes; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly called and held on July 25, 1990 at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo ~rive, South San Francisco, California, to consider any protests and/or modification of the report prior to adoption thereof; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San FranciSco that: 1. The sewer rentals and charges filed with the City Clerk contained in the "Report of Sewer Rental Charges for 1990-91, in Accordance with Chapter 14i12 of the Municipal Code" as submitted by the Director of Finance, are herebyiadopted, and the rentals and charges will be assessed on the City tax rolls and collected with the regular municipal taxes. Pursuant to Chapter 14J12 of the Municipal Code, the rentals shall constitute a lien upon the respecl~ive parcels of real property in the City of South San Francisco. 2. T)ie City Clerk shall cause a copy of this resolution to be published within fifi~een {15) days after passage in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of South San Francisco, and shall further certify to the County Tax Collector or Auditor that the report was adopted by !the Council. The report describes the procedure for charging those parcels of real property which directly receive the benefits of municipal sanitary sewer services and the amount of the annual charge Or rental which will be imposed against each parcel for fiscal ~ear 1990-91. summary iof the annual rental or charges for 1990-91. Alli commercial and industrial properties Alli residential properties, except those serviced by the Westborough County Water District Bil!led by Statement Summary of rentals or charges. The following is a $ 1,485,207 1,383,936 41,151 Total $ 2,910,294 2. Sewer Rental Account File. This report refers to and incorporates by reference the report entitled "Rate Determination and Revenue Program Summary," prepared by the City of South San Francisco Water Quality Control Plant, a copy of which is filed in the Finance Office. The report summarizes the 1990-91 sewer rental charge that will be proposed to the City Council on July 25, 1990. Upon adoption of the proposed charges, or amendments thereto, a report ientitled "City of South San Francisco Sanitary Sewer Chargesi'' prepared by Engineering Data Services, Los Altos, California, will be completed. The report will describe each parcel !of real property receiving directly the benefits of municipal sanitary sewer service and the amount of annual charge or rental imposed against each parcel for fiscal year 1990-91. This report will submit, refer to and incorporate by reference the City of iSouth San Francisco's Sewer Charge list for 1990-91 which describes by Assessor's parcel number each parcel of real property receiving sanitary sewer service and the amount of the annual charge Or rental imposed against each parcel for 1990-91. All of these documents, including this report, shall be filed with the County Tax Collector or Auditor.
