CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT 0-2
TO THE 1988-89 OPERATING BUDGET
WHEREAS, on June 22, 1988, the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco adopted the 1988-89 Operating Budget; and
WHEREAS, on June 30, 1988, the City of South San Francisco had
encumbrances outstanding from the 1987-88 Operating Budget approved by the
City Council on July 22, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the encumbrances, which were reflected in the form of purchase
orders, were for goods and services which had not been completely provided,
or for services which had not yet been rendered by June 30, 1988; and
WHEREAS, it is expected that the entire $65,921.81 worth of unfilled
purchase orders will be delivered in fiscal year 1988-89, and will be
allocated to various departments and programs in the General Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco hereby approves an appropriation in the amount of Sixty Five
Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty One Dollars and Eighty One Cents {$65,921.81) to
pay for goods and services encumbered fiscal year 1987-88, but to be paid for
in fiscal year 1988-89.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by:the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 11th day of January
, 19 89 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego, Jack Drago, Richard A. Haffey,
Gus Nicolopulos, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teglia
