To: Honorable Mayor and City Council
From: City Manager
Subject: Setting the Time and Place of Meeting of the
Industrial Development Authority
RECOMMENDATION•
It is recommended that Council, by resolution, designate the
second Wednesday in December rather than the second Wednesday in
April as the time for the Industrial Development Authority's
Annual Meeting in the Community Room of the Municipal Services
Building.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
Council Resolution No. 62-84 sets annual meetings of the
Industrial Development Authority for the second Wednesday in
April.
There being no apparent :need to have the Authority meet at that
particular time, a meeting date that better coincides with the
annual Council reorganization is felt to be a more appropriate
time to address the Authority's reorganization and its other
business.
The time and place for the Authority's meeting is being
recommended as the second Wednesday in December at 6:50 p.m. in
the Community Room of the Municipal Services Building.
