CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE
AIRCRAFT NOISE INSULATION PROJECT-
PHASE IV
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous authorization and published notice, bids
were publicly opened, examined and declared on the 20th day of December,
1988, for
CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE AIRCRAFT NOISE INSULATION
PROJECT - PHASE IV
PROJECT NO. PB-87-2; BID NO. 1781
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, that:
1. The Council hereby awards the contract to the lowest responsible
bidder, G.E. Chen Construction, Inc., San Francisco, for the Bid Price of
Three Hundred Eighty-six Thousand, Eight Hundred Sixteen Dollars and No
Cents, ($386,816.00).
2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a written
contract with the successful bidder.
3. The Council hereby rejects all other proposals or bids.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 22nd day of February , 1989 by the
following vote:
AYES:
Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego, Jack Drago, Richard A. Haffey,
Gus Nicolopulos, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teglia
