A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE VACATION
OF A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT WITHIN
PARCEL 4, BLOCK 1, WESTBOROUGH-WEST
PARK UNIT NO. 1, LANDS OF CAESAR
CALLAN HOMES, INC., SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City Council on January 11, 198g, adopted Resolution No.
2-89, entitled "A Resolution of Intention to Vacate Public Utility, Easement
Located within Parcel 4, Block 1, Westborough-West Park Unit No. 1, Lands of
Caesar Callan Homes, Inc., South San Francisco, California", pursuant to the
Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law (Streets and
Highway Code Section 8300 et seq.); and
WHEREAS, the Resolution of Intention was published as required by law,
and notices of hearing were posted in the time, manner and form provided by
law; and
WHEREAS, on Wednesday, February 22, 1989, at 7:30 p.m. at the Municipal
Services Building, 33 Arroyo Drive, South San Francisco, California, a
public hearing was held where any and all persons interested in, or having
any objections to, the proposed vacation, could appear before the Council
and be heard; and
WHEREAS, no objections of any kind or character were made or filed
against the proposed vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco:
1. That the public utility easement, which is more particularly
described in Exhibit "A" attached and located within Parcel 4, Block 1,
Westborough-West Park Unit No. 1, as shown on the map entitled "Plat Map"
which is attached as Exhibit "B" and incorporated, is unnecessary for
present or prospective use.
2. That the public utility easement located within Parcel 4, Block 1,
Westborough-West Park Unit No. 1, is hereby ordered vacated.
3. That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this
Resolution to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of San
Mateo.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 22nd day of February , 1989, by the
following vote:

Abandonment of existing 10 feet wide storm drain
eas~nt described:
The land referred to in this report is situated in the
State of California, County of San Mateo, City of South
San Francisco.
Parcel 4, Block 1, as delineated upon that certain map
entitled "Parcel Map, Division of Block 1, Westborough-
West Park Unit No. 1, Lands of Caesar Callan Homes,
Inc., South San Francisco, California", filed for record
on June 23, 1966, in Book 1, of Maps at Page 33 in the
Office of the Recorder of the County of San Mateo,
California, Described as follows:
Beginning at the Southerly corner of said land
along the Westerly side of. Westborough Blvd.,
thence North 36 46'00" West 162.83 feet;
thence North 53 14'00" East 59.26 feet to the
existing 10.00 feet storm drain easement;
thence South 79 02'58" East 31.00 feet to the
true point of beginning of centerline 10 feet
wide storm drain easement to be abandoned;
thence South 79 02'58" East 166.16 feet to
the Southeasterly side of the property line of
the said land.
