HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 51-1989RESOLUTION NO. 51-89 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITIZENS REVIEW COMMITTEE FOR THE 1987-89 DOWNTOWN COMMERCIAL REHABILITATION PROGRAM WHEREAS, a Downtown Commercial Rehabilitation Program was approved by the City Council as a part of the 1987-88 and 1988-89 federal Community Development Block Grant Programs (CDBG); and WHEREAS, on July 22, 1987 the City Council adopted a resolution approving Downtown Commercial Rehabilitation Pilot Program Guidelines; and WHEREAS, on October 14, 1987 the City Council adopted a resolution authorizing the Mayor to appoint a Citizens Review Committee for the Downtown Rehabilitation Pilot Program; and WHEREAS, on March 23, 1988 the City Council approved the recommendations of the Citizens Review Committee for the expenditure of the budgeted amount; and WHEREAS, on April 5, 1989 the Committee met and recommended revised funding for certain projects for the 1987-89 program years; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the allocation recommendations of the Citizens Review Committee are hereby~approved, but that the $15,000 for 200-202 Grand Avenue be reserved pending a determination regarding the development of a parking structure. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the staff is authorized to work with each applicant to implement the projects in accordance with the approved appropriations. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 12th day of April , 1988 the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Jack Drago, Richard A. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teglia NOES: Councilmember Mark N. Addiego ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: None
