HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 54-1989 RESOLUTION NO. 54-89 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS FOR THE EL CAMINO PLAZA ASSESSMENT DISTRICT WHEREAS, on December 14, 1988, this Council adopted Resolution No. 145-88, A Resolution of Intention to Make Acquisitions and Improvements (the "Resolution of Intention"); WHEREAS, notice of the time and place of hearing protests in relation to the proposed acquisitions and improvements described in the Resolution of Intention was duly given, the public hearing was duly held and all written protests and other written communications were publicly read at the hearing and all persons desiring to be heard were fully heard; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco as follows: 1. The protests against the acquisitions and improvements, and/or matters related thereto, were not signed and duly filed by the owners of a majority or more of the area of the lands within the assessment district, or of the area of the lands within the assessment district assessed for the costs and expenses of the acquisitions and improvements. 2. The protests, and each of them, are hereby overruled. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a requ]ar meeting held on the 12th day of April 1989, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Mark N. Addieqo, Jack Draqo, Richard A. Haffev, Gus Nicolopulos, and MaYor Roberta Cerri Teglia NOES: None ABSTAIN.- None ABSENT: None
