CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OPPOSING THE PROPOSED FIFTEEN (15)
BEDROOM CARE FACILITY AT 201 ALTA VISTA DRIVE
(SAN MATEO COUNTY USE PERMIT UP-89-5)
WHEREAS, on April 26, 1989, the San Mateo County Planning Commission
approved use permit UP-89-5 allowing a fifteen (15) bedroom care facility
at 201 Alta Vista Drive in the Country Club Park area which is within the
City of South San Francisco's sphere of influence; and
WHEREAS, the granting of the use permit has been appealed to the San
Mateo County Board of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, the proposed facility does not conform with the City of South
San Francisco's Pre-zoning for County Club Park;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1) The City is opposed to the granting of use permit UP-89-5.
2) A copy of this resolution be conveyed to the San Mateo County Board
of Supervisors in conjunction with the appeal of the use permit.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted bylthe City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 28th day of June
