CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT
WITH THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO SCAVENGER COMPANY
ESTABLISHING A RESIDENTIAL CURBSIDE RECYCLING
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, on June 28, 1989, the City Council adopted an ordinance adding
Chapter 8.28 to the South San Francisco Municipal Code entitled "Recyclable
Materials", and
WHEREAS, Municipal Code Section 8.28.050 authorizes the City Council to
enter into: an exclusive contract for the collection of any or all recyclable
materials within the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francilsco that the City Manager is authorized to execute on behalf of the
City an Ag!reement with the South San Francisco Scavenger Company establishing
a residential curbside recycling program.
I here!by certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 28th day of June

Gus Nicolopulos, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teglia
