HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 113-1989 RESOLUTION NO. 113-89 CItY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION OVERRULING OBJECTIONS TO THE PROPOSED ABATEMENT OF THE PUBLIC NUISANCE AT 1045 AIRPORT BOULEVARD AND ORDERING ASSESSMENT OF COSTS FOR ABATEMENT WHEREAS, on June 14, 1989, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 76-89 declaring ~he on-premises sign structure at 1045 Airport Boulevard a public nuisance and ordering its abatement; and WHEREAS, the affected property owners received notice of a hearing and opportunity to present objections to the proposed abatement; and WHEREAS, the City Council held the required hearing at the appointed time and heard and gave due consideration to all objections raised to the proposed abatement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that: 1. Any and all objections raised to the proposed abatement are overruled. 2. The City's Code Enforcement Officers are ordered to abate the nuisance by having ~he sign structure at 1045 Airport Boulevard removed. 3. The costs of removal, including investigation, clerical and other related costs shall be made a special assessment to be imposed upon the property. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting he'd on the 26th day of July , 1989 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Jack Drago, Richard A. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teglia NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: Councilmember Mark N. Addiego
