CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO A
PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR SURPLUS REAL PROPERTY
LOCATED SOUTHWEST OF THE HILLSIDE/CHESTNUT
INTERSECTION
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 174-83 the City Council authorized the execution
of a purchase agreement between the City and Mario Mantegani, Marguerite
Mantegani, Remo Mantegani and Barbara Jean Mantegani, collectively known as
Buyers for the property located southwest of the Hillside Boulevard and
Chestnut Avenue intersection; and
WHEREAS, provision 2C of the Agreement dated January 3, 1984 requires
that Buyer take certain actions by December 31, 1988; and
WHEREAS, Buyer has requested that the time period be extended five (5)
additional years to December 31, 1993 and City has no objection to this request,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that it approves of the Agreement entitled "Amendment To A
Purchase Agreement For Surplus Real Property Located Southwest Of The
Hillside/Chestnut Intersection" and authorizes the Mayor to execute such an
Agreement in substantially the same form as the Agreement attached as
Exhibit "A".
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 11th day of May , 1988 , by
the following vote:

EXHIBIT "A" TO RESOLUIION NO. 57-B8
AMENDMENT TO A PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR
SURPLUS REAL PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTHWEST
OF THE HILLSIDE/CHESTNUT INTERSECTION
This Amendment to a Purchase Agreement is dated May 12, 1988 and is by
and between che City of South San Francisco {hereinafter "City") and Mario
Mantegani, Marguerite Mantegani, Remo Mantegani and Barbara Jean Mantegani,
jointly and severally {hereinafter referred to collectively as "Buyer")
This Amendment amends the Purchase Agreement dated January 3, 1984
between the parties by amending Provision 2C as follows:
2. Purchase of the Property is subject to the following terms
and conditions:
C. Buyer shall, by December 31, 1993, or prior to offering
all or aFy portion of Parcel I for sale, whichever occurs first, complete
the resubdivision of the Property in accordance with the laws of the State
of California and the City of South San Francisco as they exist at the time
of resub¢ivision, and Buyer shall pay all required fees;
Buyer further agrees that upon execution of this Amendment by Buyer and City
that Buyer sPall immediately cause this Amendment to be recorded in the office
of the County Recorder for the County of San Mateo.
