HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 61-1988RESOLUTION NO. 61-88 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PUBLIC UTILITY, DRAINAGE, AND PEDESTRIAN EASEMENTS, LOCATED BETWEEN LOTS 3 AND 4 WESTBOROUGN 4A SUBDIVISION BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco as follows: 1. Notice is hereby given that Wednesday, the 22nd day of June, 1988, at 7:30 p.n., which time is not less than fifteen (15) days from the date of passage of this Resolution, in the Community Room of the Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo Drive, South San Francisco, California, is hereby fixed as the tire and place when and where all persons interested in, or having objections to, the proposed vacation of public utility, drainage, and pedestrian easements, located between Lots 3 and 4 Westborough 4A Subdivision as hereinafter described, may appear before the Council and be heard. ~ 2. ~ copy of this Resolution shall be published for a least two (2) successive weeks prior to the hearing date in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City in the manner prescribed by law for publishing ordinances in the City. 3. ~otices of the vacation, stating the passage of the Resolution of Intention and the time and place of hearing shall be posted conspicuously along the line of the street, or part thereof, proposed to be vacated at least two [2) weeks before the date set for the hearing, not more than 300 feet apart, and not less than three (3) notices shall be posted. 4. The public interest and convenience require, and it is the intention of this Council to vacate the public utility, drainage, and pedestrian easements, described in Exhibit "A" attached and located between Lots 3 and 4 Westborough 4A Subdivision as shown on the map entitled "Vacation of Drainage, P.U.E. and Pedestrian Easements, Lots 3 & 4, Westboroug~ Unit No. 4A" which is attached as Exhibit "B". 5. This vacation proceeding is conducted pursuant to Chapter 3 of the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law (commencing with Streets & highways Code Section 8300 et. seq.) I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular. meeting held on the 25th day of May , 1988, by the following ~ote: AYES: Councilmambers Mark N. Haffey City Clerk DESCRIPTION OF PUBLIC UTILITY, DRAINAGE AND PEDESTRIAN EASEMENTS TO BE VACATED A "10' Drainage, P.U.E. & Pedestrian Easement" located along the easterly line of Lot 3, Block 32 as shown on the Final Map of "Westborough Unit No. 4A", recorded August 28, 1972, in Volume 77 of Maps at Pages 18, 19, and 20, San Mateo County Records. Said Easement extending from Gellert Boulevard, northerly to Appian Way. A "10' P.U.E. & Pedestrian Easement" located along the westerly line of Lot 4, Block 32 as shown on the Final Map of "Westborough Unit No. 4A," recorded August 28, 1972, in Volume 77 of Maps at Pages 18, 19, and 20, San Mateo County Records. Said Easement extending from Gellert Boulevard, northerly to Appian Way.
