QITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING CONTROL POINTS
AND PLACING THE POSITIONS OF GARAGE
SUPERVISOR, LIBRARIAN III, LIBRARIAN II,
AND CIRCULATION AND SYSTEMS SUPERVISOR IN
THE MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEE GROUP
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San
~rancisco has recognized the AFSCME, LOCAL 1569, AFL-CIO, as the
employee organization representing a majority of those employees
Working in classifications in representation Unit A; and
,WHEREAS, the representative of the City notified the
representatives of Local 1569 of the City's desire to remove from
UInit A and place into the Management and Confidential Employee
Gi, roup the positions of Garage Supervisor, Librarian III,
Liibrarian II, and Circulation and Systems Supervisor because of
t!he City's finding that these positions properly belong in thee
Mhnagement and Confidential Employee Group; and
WHEREAS, the representative of the City and the
r~presentatives of Local 1569 have met, discussed, and agreed to
the movement of the above mentioned positions into the Management
and Confidential Employee group;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco that the positions of Garage
~upervisor, Librarian III, Librarian II, and Circulation and
Systems Supervisor are placed in the Management and Confidential
Employee Group at the Control Points to read as set forth in
Exhibit "1" attached, and will receive the benefits and terms and
~onditions of employment
