HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 68-1988RESOLUTION NO. 68-88 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PUBLIC UTILITY AND STORM DRAIN EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN LOT 14 AND A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN PARCEL A, VIEWMONT TERRACE NO. 5 SUBDIVISION BE I~ RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco as followsi: 1. iNotice is hereby given that Wednesday, the 13th day of July, 1988, at 7:30 p.m., which time is not less than fifteen (15) days from the date of passage of this Resolution, in the Community Room of the Municipal Services Building, i33 Arroyo Drive, South San Francisco, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where all persons interested in, or having objectionsl to, the proposed vacation of a Public Utility and Storm Drain Easement locatedl within Lot 14 and a Public Utility Easement located within Parcel A, iViewmont Terrace No. 5 Subdivision as hereinafter described, may appear before the Council and be heard. 2. ~ copy of this Resolution shall be published for a least two (2) successive weeks prior to the hearing date in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper !of general circulation printed and published in the City in the manner prescribed by law for publishing ordinances in the City. 3. !Notices of the vacation, stating the passage of the Resolution of Intention iand the time and place of hearing shall be posted conspicuously along theiline of the street, or part thereof, proposed to be vacated at least two!(2) weeks before the date set for the hearing, not more than 300 feet apartl, and not less than three (3) notices shall be posted. 4. The public interest and convenience require, and it is the intention iof this Council to vacate a Public Utility and Storm Drain Easement llocated within Lot 14 and a Public Utility Easement located within Parcel A, Viewmont Terrace No. 5 Subdivision, described in Exhibits "lA through 16" attached and as shown on the maps entitled "Plat of Easement No. B-l,"i"Plat of Easement No. B-2," and "Plat of Easement No. B-3", which are attached as Exhibit "2A through 2C". 5. iThis vacation proceeding is conducted pursuant to Chapter 3 of the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law (commencing with Streets & iHighways Code Section 8300 et. seq.)
